Meet Margo. She is around 10 years old and a retriever mix. She was found as a stray in southern Indiana in horrific condition. She was very thin and her coat looked like it has never been brushed. Upon getting into a Rover Rescue home, she was bathed and brushed immediately because of the smell. Now with frequent brushings and lots of yummy food and treats this girl is blossoming. Margo has become a sassy senior with lots of pep left in her step. Her most favorite thing to do is be with her humans. She likes to know where they are at all times. Margo loves her walks and is good on a leash. You can tell she sometimes has a hard time seeing because of her cataracts but that does not stop her from exploring the house or yard. I also believe Margo cannot hear very well so a fenced yard or dedicated leash walking is a must. Margo loves attention and does try to boss the resident dogs in the house at times. With constant good food and exercise it is looking good she will get more strength in her back legs. She can stand and walk and trot around the yard but she prefers carpet or rugs to walk on so she can keep her balance. Margot is housebroken and has earned free run of the house. She is being treated for a tick born disease therefore, she will need to be on flea and tick prevention year round. With all this sassy senior has gone through, she deserves a loving, quiet home. Margot still has a lot of love to give. She is silly and funny and loveable. If you have anymore questions about her please contact Jen 630-801-3294. Margo is spayed, up to date on all her immunizations and has been microchipped. The adoption fee is $150.
