Nate is a 2 year old Mountain Cur. He is house broken and is working on learning manners. He's a quiet boy and loves his people. He wants to be around them as much as possible. His favorite thing to do is put his chin on your lap for a head rub and chin rub. Nate is being crate trained and is doing well. He LOVES playing fetch and squeaky toys. He's a fast learner and treat motivated. Nate could stand to gain a few pounds. He is given food twice a day, but grazes throughout the day. He gets along well with his foster sister, a sassy Chiweenie, although he plays a little too rough with her for foster mom's liking. He also has a foster cat brother that he is ok with.
Nate needs an experienced dog owner. He is strong and pulls when on walks. He has gotten better at walking on a leash but needs more improvement. When playing with humans, he gets a little rough because he is unaware of his strength. Absolutely no children under the age of 14. Nate would do well with a very active family and he would be GREAT as a running or biking companion. He would do well in a home with other dogs, but would do best alone. He likes attention and will bop you with his nose or grab your clothes with his front teeth. This dog is altered and up to date on shots.
