Sophie is a 12 year old beagle. Sophie came into a high kill shelter in mid November. She came in with her four 8-9 week puppies. The guy who dropped them off "didn't think she could get pregnant anymore, so he was surprised that she had puppies". The puppies were adopted quickly. When the volunteer came in to pull the last puppy for adoption, Sophie ran up to the volunteer-- tail wagging-- and put her paw on the volunteer’s lap as if to say "What about me?" So, the volunteer took Sophie to her house so she wouldn’t be euthanized. Can someone please give this wonderful dog the loving home she so deserves.
