What You Want to
Know
PANDORA is a
very friendly 3-year-old female Redbone Coonhound and weighs 52 lbs. Pandora
is 21 inches high at the shoulders, and 35 inches long.... large-framed but
built sleek like a deer. Pandora loves all people, children, dogs,
adores cats (see photo below), and she's very fun-loving, playful, and
affectionate. She is house-trained and crate
trained, but is rarely crated and has earned free run of the house. Pandora
was rescued from a high kill shelter in Southern Indiana. "Pandy" enjoys playing in her fenced back yard and
going on walks, but needs a little more work on improving her leash-walking
skills. Pandora requires a 5 to 6 foot high secure fence
all around the yard, including gates, to keep her safely inside the
yard. That hound nose of her will lead her wherever the scent is to her
liking - hence the need for a safe and secure fenced yard. Pandora
is pretty laid back inside, a real cuddler, and is
an excellent treat-catcher. If you are sitting down and call her to
you, she will lay right next to you and rest her head on your lap looking for
some loving looking up at you with those big beautiful brown eyes. If you start rubbing her belly, she will stretch out her entire body,
and do a little grunting, as if she is asking for more! Pandora is typical of her breed as she is a sweet and loving family
dog and loves to be cuddled by her people and also enjoys visitors, who
all get a big kiss if they let her! An extra bonus for Pandy would include a kitty or two, as she is very gentle
with them here - they often play and groom each other! She has played nicely with dogs of all sizes and seems to know to be
extra gentle when playing with the smaller ones, such as my 12 lb. mini
Dachshund who she just loves to pieces. Pandora
is looking for a loving forever home with people who will care for her and
give her love and affection. Pandora is spayed, up-to-date on all her
vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm preventive.
Pandora's adoption fee is $200, and includes a certificate for free
micro-chipping and registration! For
